“Really?!” Jean’s eyes widened more at hearing about the woman’s accomplished success. Although Jean was often very studious and tended to her work and training, a part of her had undeniably been attracted to the performing arts and entertainment and whenever she could she’d listen to records and watch something on the few channels there were in the mansion’s living room learning about the famous actors and musicians of the time. To be in the presence of an artist only brought much glee to her. Wanting to express that she wondered how many other saving-the-world celebrities there were out there but then deciding against not wanting it to come out the wrong way, as her words had the tendency of sometimes being interpreted as, she instead asked. “Uh, Gaga? What is a Gaga and what is i-tunes?”

Alison felt like slapping her forehead, she was just kind of that stage where she just expected everyone to be at the same level of tech-understanding, but she had to remember that she was talking to past Jean.  … Which basically made this encounter ten times as weird, not as weird as a sky whale Xavier however …

Her thoughts trailed off for a second, before centering back on the topic of Gaga and i-tunes. “Lady Gaga,” Alison corrected, trying to sound sweet and not like one of those rude know-it-all people that always thought that they could give her the beast deal on her car insurance. “She’s a performer, famous for wearing a dress made out of meat.” Inhumane and disgusting. She had little respect for her and even littler for her fashion sense. “I-tunes is like a place where you buy music, online, very classy and totally over-priced.”image
