“My, you almost make it sound like this is all of absolutely no interest to you.” The blonde grinned crisply, toying with the possibility of reminding Alison that, until further notice, she was legally the prisoner of this merry band of mutants she dared to now call terrorists, whilst they had once been a family. “And here was I thinking the X-Men were a big dysfunctional family - Better than the ones you’ve ever had before… But by all means, SHIELD must be very proud to have you stray away from that and into their propagandist system.“ Emma then gave three slow, sarcastic claps into Alison’s direction. “I’d almost ask you to warn us if you suddenly get the urge to go on National TV and promote mutantphobia, just like dear Alex did so well while acting as a representative of SHIELD.” Her grin increased, taking Alison unto the popstar’s own territory. “Fabio is still a boy according to juvenile laws - refute this fact and he would therefore be perfectly aware of his decision to come with us, making him fully responsible of it legally. Besides you have absolutely no proof regarding those allegations he has been taken out of the country, have you? And yet you take him into an interrogation room more than likely against his will, wreck havoc in a peaceful neighborhood, and we are those you consider the bad guys? I never thought you so foolish and hypocritical, darling. Your trip down the great wonders of alternate universes changed you.“

Alison looked down at her white boots, a feeling of regret washing over her like the plague. It was hard to admit that maybe, maybe Emma was on the right track. But her hands were behind her back this time, her choices not being her own had become a thing in her life as of late, one that she hated. But if she didn’t hold the cards this round, than she was sure that the next time she’ll be the one on top. Because if there’s one thing Alison had, it was perseverance. And that meant not giving up ever. "We’re still family. Just … distant family,” Alison responded after a lengthy pause, the confidence in her voice wavering. Her arms crossed over her chest, “And you have no idea what I saw, Emma, nor what I’m doing here. And don’t even pretend for a second that I’m playing into SHIELDS hands, I’m doing this for myself, not for you or my ‘kind’. But because I have promises I have to keep, and I swear to god, I’m going to fulfill them.” Half way through her speech she had begun glaring at Emma, a deep seated anger seething through her, filling her body like some sort of drug. It took a decent amount of concentration not to burn everything to the ground with a single burst of power. It wasn’t like she had no reason, Emma and Alison had never been friends but things were now even worse before. They were enemies, and the insults that had been previously barred where now open to go for. And it seemed like Emma had no trouble throwing them around. Alison, on the other hand, was more reserved with her insults. Because like she said, this wasn’t her plan. Only part of it, well the other parts she hadn’t really figured out yet but she was going to do it. And then this’d all stop, or at least stop more people she loved from dying.image
