So I understand.” Scott’s tone shifted from the reserved, headstrong man to a more one of a more sympathetic nature. “You’ve deserved a break, and I’m glad you’ve gone back to something you enjoy, but when it’s time to come back don’t forget to give me a call.“

 Alison looked away for a brief second, not daring to make eye contact. "Yeah, but at least the feeling passes, eventually.” Alison offered an air of a shrug, still not looking directly at Scott. “–Maybe, we’ll just have to see about that.”
