Smack, smack. “Hm. Mm.” This lip gloss is losing it, thought Lia as she disappointedly closed the stick and tucked it away. Trying to spread the gloss on her lips, she stared at Alison in the meantime.

This chick reminds me of me, for some reason. Right down to the ‘free-wheeling’ kind of behavior!

Thnking it just a coincidence and blaming it possibly on the time of the night, she perked up when the the other woman asked her about the choice of food. “Clam Chowder?” That sounds majorly unfab, she mused. Still, it sounded nice just to keep hanging out with someone — she needed to relax, after all.

“Well, like, I don’t think I ever had the ‘original’…but I’m totally up for it!” She fixed her hair, and walked next to Alison. There’s only one way Lia will even consider going to the place — especially when the time is ripe. “D’you have a car? A bicycle? I can get us there super quick, if you tell me how to get there!”

Alison raised a brow, super fast as well as a fellow sparkler? That sounded like Ali’s type of girl. Alison smiled in response, while she did have a car, she certainly was in no state to be driving it around, especially at this time of night. There was also the fact that she may or may not have two strikes on her license, and she really did not need a third to add to her collection. “Well, it’s like awesome. They also do like bread animals–loafs made out of bread, I’ve never actually had one, but they’re super cute to look at.” Alison’s smile turned into a grin as she finished explaining it, it wasn’t really fancy, but it beat the rest of the seafood shops that were open this late.

“It’s just down by the pier, take a left and follow the road that goes down, and if you just follow the water front … you’re there.” She made vague hand gestures as she walked, trying to plot out the route in her head. It was always easier for Alison to find it by just following the sounds, it sounded pretty stupid but nine times out of ten it worked. “Now what’s this super fast method you’ve got going on, because I seriously need to keep my lunch down tonight." image
