She could only imagine what it could have been like for Alison to be in such an entertainment industry when what she was often was the subject of such great debate among politicians and others around the globe. Jean only wanted to brighten her mood and taking a look at the menu Alison had retrieved she said, “I think a nice club sandwich and strawberry mango smoothie would be nice. It’s summer and here, why should we not treat ourselves?”

Alison gave a firm nod in response, “It can only go up from here, and if it doesn’t go up then, the new up must be down, right?” Alison laughed uneasily at her joke, truth be told, she was rather nervous at the lack of interest in her music. But she usually just shrugged that off as that maybe, just maybe, mutants weren’t that ‘in’ right now. “We should always treat ourselves, Jean, like every single day. Oh, screw it–I’ll have the same, otherwise I’d probably be jealous when your food arrives.”
