Jean could tell that Alison’s response wasn’t so immediate but it was alright with her considering how it wouldn’t be the first time others had hesitated or shown their lack of interest in subjects related to those fields, students included. Scanning the area for a place to sit, she wondered, “And how are things going with your music? You know, the students were playing one of your albums just the other day.”
Alison shrugged, her smile broadening slightly at the mention of it. “Oh, it’s doing fine really. Not anything so spectacular, but it’s income right now.” She explained with a brief wave of her hand, record deals didn’t really come easily to high profile mutants–but that was understandable in light of recent events. “What d'you want?” Alison questioned, regarding one of the menu’s she had picked up moments before.
