Well touching Doctor Strange’s weird book thing does do that for you. “Man this bus likes to take it time.” She muttered, trying to change the topic. “Yeah, they’re a huge pain in the ass but I suppose it’s better to learn you have them then to just thinking it’s weird coincidences.” 

“Maybe it was secretly a transformer and went all Hannah Montanna on us–you know, being tired of living a double life and just wanting to get all the credit.” She explained in a joking yet unusually upbeat tone. “It took me about seven years to learn I was a mutant, and I only learned then because my show was gatecrashed by a bunch of idiots in spandex–and some robot guys too.” It worked better just to call them idiots, less hassle than saying the x-men, which could easily turn into a long debate about who/when/where.
