Yell: Your muse is getting bullied and my muse intervenes.
The beach was surprisingly quiet for once. It was usually crowded with sweaty tourists just dying to get Alison’s autograph, she could understand their excitement. It wasn’t like she had concerts every Wednesday at the exact same place at the exact same time. She rolled her eyes briefly at the thought.
The sun felt nice against Alison’s bare back, as it usually should. The reason why the beach was so unusually empty was that their had been a shark attack or something in the water, and it was supposed to be closed. That rule doesn’t stand for super hero’s, or rowdy gangs of boy’s apparently.
Alison rolled over trying to detect the source of the sound, it was coming from the left, two hundred yards, four boys in their mid-twenties. Alison gave a short sigh as she pushed the sunglasses off her face until they rested neatly against the top of her head–and she was looking forward to a day of peace.
“You four better lay off.” Alison said loudly, the strong sense of super hero confidence was clearly evident in her voice. Her hands were placed firmly on her hips, in an attempt to make her seem as daunting as possible. (Though they probably just took one look at the bedazzled bikini before shrugging them off as nothing). She was far too busy trying to actually scare them off to notice the figure that was dropped to the floor. “You guys going to run or-?” Alison asked tauntingly, raising a brow. They did nothing until they saw the spear of light forming out of her left hand.
Alison laughed lightly at their cowardliness before running over quickly to help the boy - or now that she got closer, man - “Jono?” She questioned before trying to help him up, he simply brushed her off and stood up on his own accord. “What were you doing letting people push you around like that?” Her voice was motherly, she didn’t like to see people bullying others - for what cause they were doing it for didn’t matter right now, Jono was somewhat of a friend and she intended to treat him like one.
Her question went un-responded which caused her to frown, maybe he was just in a bad mood, she told herself that to try and calm her biting nerves–it usually worked. “Jono?” She asked again, her voice wavering slightly towards the end.
Nope.
Nothing.
Another Saturday ruined because of a pointless thought, she gave a brief sigh before flipping her hair over her shoulder. She could worry about that later, the most important thing right now was working on that tan of hers.
