With a grin, Jean let out yet another small laugh. Truly today was one of the funner days she had been able to have in a while. Priding herself in the company she had, she beamed and remarked, “Oh, Alison. If only I had a voice like yours. You sound wonderful singing that and it’s been forever since I’ve heard that song. But yes. We definitely have plenty of things to discuss old and new once we get inside. Classes have kept me cooped in for so long that I’m bound to enjoy this day as much as I possibly can.”

“I’m sure you’re not as bad as you think you are!” Alison announced proudly waggling her finger in Jean’s vague direction. “All anything needs is a little coaxing, that’s like the secret guide to life or something.” Ali gave a short snort before stopping outside the door to the swanky coffee shop. She propped the door open with her foot, allowing Jean to enter first. “You can start off by telling me what Classes you’re speaking of."
