“Darla.. Darla Deering. ” Darla was only slightly disapointed she hadn’t heard of her, but not surprised.
“Well it’s nice to meet you, Darla. Are you a new rising star?” She asked, trying to seem as casual as possible. The newspapers had reported her month long absence as a holiday in Tahiti–but that wasn’t really the case, and anything that had happened recently was still unknown to Alison.
